The 280 students at W.H. Knuckles Elementary School took to the streets Thursday wearing red, carrying signs and chanting ‘Just say no’ as part of Red Ribbon Week. ‘I’m a drug-free girl’ read one of the signs. The week raises awareness about alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse. ‘It’s all about staying in school, sending a positive message and being drug free,’ Principal Adrian Sinclair said.
