The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at West Saddletree Baptist Church, the Rev. Jimmy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Louise M. Chase of the home; a son, Timmy Chase of Lumberton; two daughters, Robin Chase of Fayetteville and Tammy Sowers of Wilmington; a brother, Stephen Chase of Concord, N.H.; two sisters, Margaret Drew of Rochester, N.H. and Barbara Shamphey of Contoocook, N.H.; and a grandchild.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Heritage Funeral Home in Red Springs.
