The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Independent Full Gospel Holiness Church in Buie, the Revs, Gene Chavis, Melvin Bernett, and Jim Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Oxendine Cemetery.
Surviving are two daughters, Ready Bell Jones of Rennert and Diane Locklear of Pembroke; three sisters, Retha Mae Locklear of Hope Mills, Edna Pearl Lowery of Pembroke, and Betty Low Emanuel of Lumberton; three brothers, Lacey Locklear and Zeb Locklear, both of Lumberton, and Luther Locklear of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Revels Funeral Home of Pembroke.
