A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Meadowbrook Cemetery, the Rev. Worth Gerald officiating.
Britt was preceded in death by his parents, Hinyard and Agatha Britt; a brother, David Britt; and by a sister, Betty Chrisco.
Surviving are a son, Ronnie Britt of Charlotte; two brothers, Wilton Britt of Brown Summit and Albert Britt of Pasadena, Calif.; three sisters, Fran Atkinson of Greensboro and JoeAnn York and Alma Joyce Stanton, both of Lumberton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory and at other times at the home of JoeAnn York, 1608 Cedar St., Lumberton.
