The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Olive Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Revs. Lamar Jackson and Marshall Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are three sons, Jerry Wells Revels of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Gaylord Allan Revels of Pembroke and Donnie "Sonny Boy" Revels Jr. of the home; five daughters, Margaret Ann Revels of Laurinburg, Kathleen Revels of Hendersonville, Aileen Revels Linton of Goose Creek, S.C., Mary Elizabeth Revels Joyce of Silver Springs, Md., and Cora Sue Revels Oxendine of Maxton; a brother, Joe Brooks of Pembroke; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Revels Funeral Home of Pembroke.
