Mt. Elim Baptist Church will host The Lumber River Quartet at 6 p.m. on June 12.

A gospel concert featuring Jessica Leonard will be held June 12 at 7 p.m. at Proctorville Baptist Church.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Baltimore Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 13-17 from 6:30 until 9 p.m.

Classes will be available ages 2 and up. A nursery will be provided for people attending the adult class.

East Lumberton Church of God will have Vacation Bible School June 13-17 from 7 until 9 p.m.

The church is at 100 Dresden Ave.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 3698 Pine Log Rd., Lumberton, has a food bank stocked with non-perishable items.

People who have lost their jobs because their places of unemployment have closed, and others experiencing hardships such as sickness or a death in the family may contact the church at 739-0360 for help.
