Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church is sponsoring a conference package to Bishop T.D. Jakes' MEGA FEST 2005. The event will be Aug. 3-6 in Atlanta, Ga. Adult and youth packages are available. For information, call 739-0360 or 739-0015.

Dedication services for First Baptist Church, 504 W. 2nd St., Lumberton, will be held Wednesday, July 13, through Saturday, July 16, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 17, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Guest preachers will include: the Revs. Bill Dockery, Howard Davis, and Ivan Davis.

Dr. Joseph Ratliffe will be the keynote speaker in both of the Sunday services.

Dr. E.B. Turne is the pastor.

MUSIC

An old-fashion singing, featuring The Brown Family and The Floyd Family of Sumter, S.C., will be held June 25 at Pentecostal Faith of God Church.

The singing will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The gospel group, Strait Gate, will sing June 26 at Raft Swamp Baptist Church. The program will begin at 7 p.m.

The church is on N.C. 72, west of Lumberton.

Covenant Worship Center, 1270 Linkhaw Rd., Lumberton, will host an Outdoor Gospel Singing and Hot Dog Sale on July 2 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

The fireworks will be visible from this location, and everyone is asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

A gospel sing benefiting the Red Spring Rescue Squad will be held at 7 p.m. on July 16, 2005 at Shannon Assembly of God.

A love offering will be collected.

The pre-show begins at 6:30 p.m., featuring performances by the Anointed & Mary Ann Locklear. Other performers are The Locklears & Wendy, The Oxendines, Bobby Deal Trio, Sufficient Grace and Sounds of Praise. For information call Kalita Locklear at 258-9977. 

REVIVAL

The Youth Ministry at Christian Fellowship Ministries will sponsor a youth revival June 26 at 4 p.m. and June 27-28 at 7 p.m.

The church is at 304 Canal St., Rowland.

PLATE SALES

Bethany Presbyterian Church's Sea/Bird Dinner, featuring fish or chicken, will be June 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Plates are $5. The church is at 700 East Elizabethtown Rd., Lumberton.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Greenville Missionary Baptist Church's Vacation Bible School is June 20-23 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Trinity Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 20-24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Bible school is for ages 2 and up.

The church is at 1106 Water St., Lumberton.

Life Line Church of God will have Vacation Bible School June 27-29 from 7 to 9 p.m.

There will be Bible stories, food and crafts. The church is at 871 N.C. 41 South.

Vacation Bible School is planned for July 11-15 at Turner Station A.M.E. Church, Marietta. The church is at 3155 Olivet Church Rd.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 3698 Pine Log Rd., Lumberton, has a food bank stocked with non-perishable items.

People who have lost their jobs because their places of unemployment have closed, and others experiencing hardships such as sickness or a death in the family may contact the church at 739-0360 for help.
