Ms. Jeanette Paul, 68, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Avante of Corcord (NC) and formerly of Red Springs.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 7, 2006, at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Guy officiated. Burial followed at Cabarrus Memorial

Garden.

Ms. Paul was born September 24, 1937, in Cumberland County. Her parents were the late Ewing O. and Letha Pam Baxley Cox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Paul, in 1999. She retired in 2002 from Harris Teeter Distribution Center in Indian Trail. She enjoyed bingo and was a Braves fan and also enjoyed racing, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Paul and wife, Myra, of Concord and Frank Paul of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Cecilia Paul Honeycutt and husband, Pat, of Concord and Patricia Paul Sisler of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Walter Cox of Red Springs; a sister, Lib Varmum and husband, John Alvin of Cary; and grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Paul, Ayden and Erin Honeycutt, Samantha Carter, Victoria, Alicia and Paul Sisler.
