Perry Revels, 44, was arrested without incident Tuesday, three days before classes began, and charged with felony indecent liberties with a child and felony second degree sex offense of a child. He was jailed under $20,000 bond.
According to investigators, the two girls are aged 15 and 16 and live in Lumberton. They are in no way connected to SPES. He is reportedly a long-time friend of the girls' family.
The parents reported the alleged assaults on August 4, after being informed by the girls that they occurred in May and again this month.
