Lumberton

Ronald Phillips, 56, of 248 Barnhill Road, died Nov. 27, 2006, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Revs. Mark Meadows and Jimmie Dail officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillips family cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Phillips; two brothers, Wayne and Edward; and a sister, Karen Davis.

Surviving are his father, Edgar Phillips of Lumberton; five brothers, Boyd Phillips and his wife, Frances, James “Bo” Phillips, Russell Phillips and his wife, Vickie, and Glenn Phillips and his wife, Linda, all of Lumberton, and Gary Phillips of LaGrange; two sisters, Lorraine Watson and her husband, Doug, and Sue Katzenberger, all of Lumberton; a special nephew, Earl Wade and his wife, Barbara Ann Tyson; a special great-niece, Jessica Meares and her husband, Billy; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory in Lumberton.
