Clayton Oxendine, 63, of 243 Will Road, died May 29, 2007, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Funeral Home, the Revs. Earl Chavis & Bill James Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at Oxendine Cemetery in Pembroke.

Surviving are five sons, Archie Oxendine, George Oxendine, James Clayton Oxendine, and Keith Hammonds, all of Baltimore, and Clayton Hammonds of Maxton; four daughters, Tina Oxendine, Patricia Oxendine and Cathy Oxendine, all of Baltimore, and Doris Oxendine of Lumberton; a brother, David L. Oxendine of Lumberton; three sisters, Bessie Hammonds of Pembroke, Clara B. Hunt of Baltimore and Mary Frances Moore of Lumberton; and a host of grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 11a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Thompson's Funeral Home.
