Grace Tyler, 83, of 161 Brigman St., Red Springs, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Funeral services wree conducted on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at Hoke County Holiness Church. The Rev. Gene T. Chavis and Evangelist Linda Locklear officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Bullard and Lorraine Locklear Bullard; and two sons, James J. Tyler and Talmon Tyler.

Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Claimon Tyler of the home; a son, Claimon Lee Tyler of Winston-Salem; four daughters, Evelyn Oxendine of Rowland, Mary Hunt of Fairmont, Geraldine Hunt of Rural Hall, and Bertha Hunt of Red Springs; two brothers, Willie Bullard of Detroit, Mich., and Clarence “Dock” Bullard of Red Springs; 24 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
