Gwendolyn Wright, 49, of 1139 Bennett Loop Road, formerly of Cerro Gordo, N.C., died April 18, 2008, at home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Cerro Gordo, the Rev. Kennis Rolle and Elder Leon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy (Dottie) Wright Pearson; a son, Lamont Wright; seven brothers, Rodney Ford, James Wright, Chris Wright, Jeff Wright, Anthony Wright, Earl Wright Jr. and Dwight Wright; three sisters, Tamisha McBride, Crystal Wright and Rhonda Wright; and three grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at S&L Funeral Home in Fair Bluff. The family will receive friends at the home of Tamisha McBride at 119 Grist Road in Chadbourn.
