Brandy Nicole Oxendine, 18, died May 18, 2008.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton. Burial will follow in the Lowery family cemetery on Oak Grove Church Road, Lumberton.

Brandy was born on Jan. 3, 1990, in Iredell County.

Surviving are her father, Toby Oxendine of Pembroke; her mother, Lynn Mabe and her fianc/ David “Pobby” Moore, both of Statesville; a brother, Bryson Mabe; paternal grandparents, Ella “Deane” Lowery Mash and James Mash, both of Statesville; maternal grandparents, Elona Todd and Herman Mabe, both of Statesville; she was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Hazel Lee Lowery; her grandfather, Neal Archie Oxendine; and a uncle, Derek Oxendine; also surviving are a great aunt, Judy Ann Locklear; two great uncles, Jeff Lowery and Larkie Lee Lowery; four uncles, Steve Mabe of Statesville, Neil A. Oxendine, Tim Oxendine and Chico Oxendine, all of Lumberton; nine aunts, Diane “Nanny” Lynch, Dedra Bridges and Angela Oxendine, all of Statesville, Miranda Oxendine, Mary Neal Oxendine Locklear, Toni Marie Oxendine, and Barbara Rumsey, all of Lumberton, Linda Chavis and Margie Oxendine, both of Pembroke; a special sister, Casey Threatte of Statesville; and special cousins, Misty Lynn Jacobs, Ryan Jacobs, Crystal Gale Locklear, Ginger Ann Jacobs and Sherrie Ann Harris.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
