Town Board met Thursday, 2008-2009 budget set to be adopted

The St. Pauls Board of commissioners will meet tonight, Thursday, June 12 beginning at 7 pm.

The meeting, which will be held at Town Hall, is open to the public and citizens are encouraged to come out and participate in local government.

Among the items on the Commissioners' agenda:

--consideration of adopting the 2008-2009 budget;

--consideration of a request to rezone property at 112 E. Blue Street from R-10 to Professional to allow for construction of a doctor's office;

--consideration of approving a resolution supporting the Small Town Main Street program;

--consideration of a request from a property owner to allow him to keep his mobile home parked on Town property;

--a request from a pastor seeking support from the Board to allow Christianity at Veterans Administration;

--budget amendments for 2007-2008;

--citizen input.
