LUMBERTON — An employee of Tobacco House located at 2301 Lackey St. reported Wednesday that $4,000 in cigarettes had been stolen during a break-in.

According to a police report, the burglar cut the phone lines before prying open a door and smashing a window to gain access to the building. The report also indicated that the surveillance cameras on the building had been knocked out by a thunderstorm.

LUMBERTON — An employee of RGS Builders located on Millbrook Lane reported Monday that $4,500 in copper wire had been stolen from a home the company is building.

According to a police report, extensive damage was done to the structure.
