LOCATED ON THE CORNER FACING THE CAROLINA THEATER WAS HEDGEPETH'S DRUGSTORE, OPERATED BY THE JACKSON FAMILY...BUDDY JACKSON WAS THE PHARMACIST.

ALSO THERE WAS A BARBERSHOP..I GOT A HAIRCUT FOR 25 CENTS AND ADMISSION TO THE SATURDAY MOVIES (USUALLY A WESTERN) FOR 9 CENTS...I SAY THIS WAS AROUND 1954-55..
