Growing up in the city I never had animals so it does not matter to me.

Yes. I agree with this law because we need to make sure our Animal Control officers are transporting these animals in a humane way.

I totally agree with the laws requiring Animal Control vehicles to have climate control boxes. Would YOU want to sit in a metal box on the back of a truck for hours in 100 degrees heat? Neither do the animals that get picked up! The picture I’m sending is of two dogs that were adopted from Robeson County Animal Shelter. The animals get the bad end of the deal in Robeson County because they are considered possessions and not part of the family by most people. People also don’t spay or neuter their pets which contributes to the number of animals that get taken in to the shelter DAILY by animal control and by residents. There is a FREE spay and neuter program in Robeson County that MOST residents will qualify for. All you have to do is go to the shelter with proof of income or proof of government assistance & they will give you a FREE voucher that’s good at most vets in Robeson County. The shelter also adopts out animals for $25 which includes spaying & neutering for any pet adopted by a Robeson County resident. It’s time to wake up RobCo & do what’s right by the animals and a problem the county residents have created by not spaying and neutering!

Yes I agree. Animals may not be human beings. They are something that God has created to be apart of this earth.

Yes. Climate-controlled condition is a must requirement. I would not want my cat to endure an unpleasant temperature.

How wonderful it is to read all the "positive" comments concerning the care of our animals - hopefully these comments, along with other comments, will send a MESSAGE to David Edge in hopes he will accept the fact our animals are NOT Trash/Property as he apparently feels - as stated earlier, we are no longer living in the DARK AGES and hopefully he will put on his "glasses" and accept the fact.

I certainly agree that "spaying/neutering" is THE answer to helping end the abuse, etc. of the animals and, as stated, there are Vouchers avaiable at the Robeson County Animal Shelter and there is no excuse for anyone not taking advantage and help end the over population of animals and cruelty to them.
