WEDDING

Branch-Sealy

Brittany Branch and Blaine Sealy were married at Mt.Elim Baptist Church at 4 p.m. on April 14.

The bride is the daughter of Howard and Regina Branch of Orrum, and the granddaughter of Sonny and Margaret Cox, and E.H. and Minnie Branch, all of Lumberton. She attended Barton College and works for the Clerk of Superior Court of Robeson County.

The groom is the son of Louis and Beverly Sealy of Fairmont, and the grandson of Marilyn and the late George Sealy, and Wesley and the late Betty Adcox of Lumberton. He attended East Carolina University and works at the Robeson County Department of Social Service.

The maid of honor was Mollie Britt and the matron of honor was Shannon Holmes. The bridesmaids were Tracey Branch, Daphne Branch, Magan Cox, Tori Sealy, and Rachel Sealy.

Miniature Bridesmaids were Paityn Branch and Lizzie Sealy. The honorary bridesmaids were Lauren Barnhill, Jamie Gibson, Stephanie Sutton and Anna Tressler.

The best man was Louis Sealy and the groomsmen were Jeromy Branch, Craig Sealy, Trey Elam, Matt McDaniel and Tray Smith. The honorary groomsmen were Gerald Gaddy, Sean Morrow, Brandon Inman and Jeremy Sessoms.

The flower girl was Bryleigh Sealy and the ring bearer was Luke Holmes.

Other special attendants were Kallie Cox, Sonny Dalton Cox, Seth Holmes, Grayson Strickland, Micah Cox and Lori Leggett.

Music was provided by Jessica Leonard, Wendell Cox and Lori Britt.

Billy Davis and Teresa Anderson were the wedding directors.

The rehearsal dinner was at Bethesda Church, hosted by the parents of the groom, and the reception was at the home of the bride’s parents, hosted by the parents of the bride. Showers and Bridesmaid’s luncheon were hosted by friends of the bride and groom.

Following a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and Key West, Fla., the couple will reside in Lumberton.

Merryman-Graham

Elizabeth Ann Merryman of Maxton and Joseph D. Graham of Pembroke were married at 406 Fifth St. at noon on May 4. The Rev. Carson P. Locklear officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Carol Merryman, and Cathy and Melvin Blizzard, and the granddaughter of John and Ruth Rankin, and William and Dorothy Merryman.

The groom is the son of Teresa Graham, and Curtis and Melody Graham, and the grandson of Donald and Ruby Locklear, and Curtis and Carrie Graham.

The maid of honor was Leighana Koone, and the best man was Curtis Graham III.

The reception at 406 Fifth St. was hosted by Ruby Locklear, the grandmother of the groom.

The couple took a cruise leaving from Wilmington after a trip to the beach.

West-Andrews

Cheryl Lynn West and Stephen Anthony Andrews were married on the beach at North Myrtle Beach at the Myrtle Beach Wedding Chapel. The Rev. Rich Martin officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Rita West. She attended Littlefield High School and works for The Robesonian.

The groom is the son of Fred and Liz Andrews. He attended Fairmont High School and works for Nash Finch Company.

The ring bearers were Madelyn Dell Britt and Paige Lynn Andrews.

The music at the acoustical sand ceremony was provided by Andy Martin.

The couple reside on Tarheel Road in Lumberton and will take their wedding trip in the fall.

Madden-Lewis

Jessica Madden, of Lumberton, and Brian Lewis, of Fairmont, were married at 3 p.m. on March 31 at Long Branch Baptist Church. The Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Lynne Madden of Lumberton, and the granddaughter of Jim and Ingrid Madden, and Hazel and the late Bob Harrell. She attended Lumberton High School and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and works for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

The groom is the son of Chip and Beth Lewis of Fairmont, and the grandson of Carol and the late Gilbert Lewis, and Vera and the late Robert Bridgers. He attended Fairmont High School and Robeson Community College and works for Robeson County Social Services.

The maid of honor was Morgan Madden, and the bridesmaids were Ashley Simmons, Mandy Luck, Caroline Lewis and Holly Manning.

The best man was Chip Lewis, and the groomsmen were Tyler Lewis, Aarin Lewis, Carl Burgdorf, William Simmons and Bo Benton.

The flower girls were Marley Johnson and Kelcey Pittman, and the ring bearer was Connor Pittman.

The music was provided by Wendell Cox and Judy Strother.

The wedding director was Billy Davis.

The rehearsal dinner was at the Pinecrest Country Club, hosted by Chip and Beth Lewis, Bobby and Sandra Bridgers, and Gus and Jane Burgdorf, and the reception was at the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Parker, hosted by Mark and Lynne Madden. The engagement party was at the home of Mark and Lynne Madden, hosted by Mark and Lynne Madden, and Chip and Beth Lewis. The dinners were at the home of Greg and Kitty Britt in Fairmont, hosted by Greg and Kitty Britt, and at the Hog Swamp Church, hosted by Fran Baugess, Cherly Smith, Sharon Leonard and Beth McDowell. The showers were at the home of Debbie Godwin in Calabash, hosted by Debbie Godwin, and and the home of Caroline Lewis, hosted by Caroline Lewis, Claudia Lewis, Linda Britt, Debbie Leggett, Mary-Kate Freeman and Sandra Bridgers.

The bridesmaid’s luncheon was at Abigail’s Tea Room, hosted by Yvonne Harrell, Mandy Luck and Lesley Craven.

Following a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Fairmont.

ENGAGEMENT

Lee-Morton

Gerald and Shelia Lee of Lumberton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Kay Lee, to Brett Douglas Morton, son of Marsha Morton of Oakboro.

Lee is the granddaughter of Agnes Barnes of Fairmont. She attended East Carolina University and works for the Public Schools of Robeson County.

Morton is the grandson of Doug and Irene Thomas and Pansy Morton of Oakboro. He attended Methodist University and works for the Public Schools of Robeson County and BB&T.

The wedding will be held on June 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Il Bella Gardens.

Lee-Yost

Michael and Gloria Lee announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Carol Lee of Dunn, to James William Yost, son of Ed and Faith Yost of Lumberton.

Jessica is the granddaughter of Annie Pearl Lee and the late Ronald Lee and Patsy Wise and the late Carol Wise.

James is the grandson of Charles and Yvonne Davis of Reidsville, and the late James and Ruth Yost.

Jessica obtained her bachelor’s degree from Campbell University and teaches piano at her studio in Dunn.

James obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Campbell University and is employed by Investors Financial Group of Dunn.

The wedding will be held on Saturday.

Collins-Britt

Margaret Collins Harrison and the late Larry Dean Collins of St. Pauls announce the engagement of their daughter, Belinda Gail Collins of Lumberton, to Terry R. Britt, son of the late Hampton Lee and the late Dorothy Britt.

Margaret is the granddaughter of Annie and the late Willard Emanuel of Shannon, and the late Irene Hunt of Lumberton.

Terry is the grandson of Maggie C. and the late John R. Locklear of Lumberton, and Arlie and the late Charlie Britt of Lumberton.

Margaret attended Lumberton High School and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Terry attended Littlefield School.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on June 9 at the Country Bible Baptist Church in Lumberton, followed by a reception at the home of Jackie and Annie Michelle Scott of St. Pauls.

Kruger-Musselwhite

Molly Catherine Kruger and Alex Pickett Musselwhite were married on May 12 at Regan United Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m. The officiating Ministers were Rev. Jim Clin and Donnie Robins.
The bride is the daughter of Maureen Rozier, of Lumberton, and the granddaughter of Adel Rozier of Lumberton. She is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High and a pre-med student at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen P. Musselwhite of Lumberton and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Musselwhite of Lumberton, and Mr. and Mrs. George L. Gilgo of Wilmington. He is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High and a senior at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is employed by Lowes Home Improvement.
The maid of honor was Kelly Miller and the bridesmaid was Madolyn Britt. Flowers Girls were Addison Faith and Emma Grace King, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. McCall King.
The best man was Brandon Musselwhite, brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Willis Madden and Fred Phillips.

The pianist was Linda King and the vocalist was Matthew King. Scripture reading was by Randy Musselwhite and the program attendant was Rachel Musselwhite.
The wedding was directed by Lynn Gronosky and Shelia Schoberlein. The photographer was Abbi Overfelt and videographers were Jeff and Ian Gronosky.
The Dinner Station reception was held at the home of Steve and Ann Musselwhite, with music and entertainment by Delano Townsend. A photo booth was provided by Abbi Overfelt and Willis Madden.
A shower was given by the aunts of the groom, Lynn Gronosky and Carol Musselwhite, at Regan United Methodist Church, and a dinner was given by the bride’s aunt and uncle, Wade and Sonja Rozier, at their home. The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s aunt and uncle, Andy and Shelia Schoberlein, and his parents at their home.
After a honeymoon to Wrightsville Beach and a delayed honeymoon to Disney World, the couple will reside in Lumberton.
