WEDDING

Cox-Willoughby

April Cox and Channing Willoughby were married at Cedar Grove Baptist Church on April 28.
The bride is the daughter of Susie Cox of Lumberton, and the granddaughter of Jerry and Pat Walker of Lumberton. She attended Lumberton Senior High School and works for Phillips Auto Body.
The groom is the son of Buddy and Mechelle Willoughby, and the grandson of Magalene and the late Weldin Todd. He attended Robeson Community College and works for Bladen County.
The matron of honor was Jo Tyner. The bridesmaids were Kenzley Cox, Ashley Strickland and Sheena Rogerson. The honorary attendants were Laura Bass and Anna Powell.
The best man was Dustin Willoughby. The groomsmen were Walker Cox, Dallas Garner, and Jeffrey Rogerson. The ushers were Donnie Williamson, Daniel Wilkins and Josh Butler.
The flower girl was Laci Buffkin and the ring bearer was Bryce Butler.
Music was provided by Tami Mancos Ragan, Austin Stone, Elise Mauterer and Wendell Cox.
Ruby Jackson was the wedding director. The photographer was Andy Andrews.
A bridal shower was given at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Community Building by the bride’s family and friends, and also at Bladenboro Historic Building by the groom’s family and friends.
The rehearsal dinner and reception both were held at Pinecrest Country Club.
Following a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Bladenboro.

Hunt-Epps

Jamie L. Hunt and Jessica K. Epps were married on April 20.

They gathered with family and friends on April 21 at the Haroins Lodge in Red Springs for the wedding party.

After their honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, they will reside in Pembroke.

Kinlaw-Parker

Jennifer Kinlaw and James Parker, both of Raleigh, were married on April 20 at 11 a.m. on Folly Beach, S.C. The Rev. Mary Ann Henry officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Danny and Judy Kinlaw of Lumberton, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Garland Smith and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Alex Kinlaw. She is a graduate of Salem Academy in Winston-Salem and the University of Georgia and works as a CPA with the State Employees’ Credit Union in Raleigh.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Parker of Fife Lake, Mich., and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Parker and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Shotten. He is a graduate of Forest Area High School and Michigan State University. He works for Vectora Transportation.

The matron of honor was Alison Wells Higgins of Minneapolis, Minn., and the best man was Rich Bechtold of Clayton.

The groomsmen were Michael Parker of Kingsley, Mich., and Dan Olson of Holly Springs.

The rehearsal dinner was at a private residence on Folly Beach, S.C., hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Parker. The reception was at Magnolias in Charleston, S.C., hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Danny Kinlaw.

Allison Hajj and Melissa Matton hosted a bridal tea at the Raleigh County Club.

Following a honeymoon in Aruba the couple will reside in Raleigh.

Branch-Sealy

Brittany Branch and Blaine Sealy were married at Mt.Elim Baptist Church at 4 p.m. on April 14.

The bride is the daughter of Howard and Regina Branch of Orrum, and the granddaughter of Sonny and Margaret Cox, and E.H. and Minnie Branch, all of Lumberton. She attended Barton College and works for the Clerk of Superior Court of Robeson County.

The groom is the son of Louis and Beverly Sealy of Fairmont, and the grandson of Marilyn and the late George Sealy, and Wesley and the late Betty Adcox of Lumberton. He attended East Carolina University and works at the Robeson County Department of Social Service.

The maid of honor was Mollie Britt and the matron of honor was Shannon Holmes. The bridesmaids were Tracey Branch, Daphne Branch, Magan Cox, Tori Sealy, and Rachel Sealy.

Miniature Bridesmaids were Paityn Branch and Lizzie Sealy. The honorary bridesmaids were Lauren Barnhill, Jamie Gibson, Stephanie Sutton and Anna Tressler.

The best man was Louis Sealy and the groomsmen were Jeromy Branch, Craig Sealy, Trey Elam, Matt McDaniel and Tray Smith. The honorary groomsmen were Gerald Gaddy, Sean Morrow, Brandon Inman and Jeremy Sessoms.

The flower girl was Bryleigh Sealy and the ring bearer was Luke Holmes.

Other special attendants were Kallie Cox, Sonny Dalton Cox, Seth Holmes, Grayson Strickland, Micah Cox and Lori Leggett.

Music was provided by Jessica Leonard, Wendell Cox and Lori Britt.

Billy Davis and Teresa Anderson were the wedding directors.

The rehearsal dinner was at Bethesda Church, hosted by the parents of the groom, and the reception was at the home of the bride’s parents, hosted by the parents of the bride. Showers and bridesmaid’s luncheons were hosted by friends of the bride and groom.

Following a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and Key West, Fla., the couple will reside in Lumberton.

Tyner-Lowry

Stephanie Hope Tyner of Pembroke, and Caplor “Roo” Lowry of Maxton, were married at 2 p.m. April 13 on the banks of the Lumber River.

The bride is the daughter of Karen and Mitchell Tyner, of Pembroke, and the late Rose Mary Tyner.

The groom is the son of Barbara and Jimmy Bullard, of Maxton, and Thurman Lowry of Lexington.

The couple will reside in Lumber Bridge.

ENGAGEMENT

West-Smith

Anita Gail West, of Lumberton, announces the engagement of her daughter Erica Lee West, of Lumberton, to Will Norman Smith, son of Sally Smith Wydler of Lumberton.

West is the granddaughter of Mildred West and the late Dorothy and the late Marvin West. She attended Lumberton High School and works for Tyson’s Diner.

Smith is the grandson of the late Floyd and the late Sarah Locklear of Lumberton. He attended Lumberton High School and works for Sam’s Club.

The wedding will be held on June 3rd at 4 p.m. at the home of Kerry and Charlotte Nicholson.

Collins-Britt

Margaret Collins Harrison and the late Larry Dean Collins of St. Pauls announce the engagement of their daughter, Belinda Gail Collins of Lumberton, to Terry R. Britt, son of the late Hampton Lee and the late Dorothy Britt.

Belinda is the granddaughter of the late Annie and the late Willard Emanuel of Shannon, and the late Irene Hunt of Lumberton.

Terry is the grandson of the late Maggie C. and the late John R. Locklear of Lumberton, and the late Arlie and the late Charlie Britt of Lumberton.

Belinda attended Lumberton High School and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Terry attended Littlefield School.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on June 9 at the Country Bible Baptist Church in Lumberton, followed by a reception at the home of Jackie and Annie Michelle Scott of St. Pauls.
