LUMBERTON — The Alive After 5 concert series continues Thursday with a performance by the Holiday Band, which will perform a mix of musical styles.
The free event, which will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m., has been moved from the corner of Third and Chestnut streets to the parking lot on the corner of Third and Water streets in order to coincide with the opening of Candy Sue’s Downtown.
The restaurant will offer an outdoor grilled bar menu and an appetizer menu from which people can sample favorites for $10.
This is the fourth of five performances, and the last band scheduled to perform is Jim Quick and Coastline on July 5.
In case of rain, all concerts will be rescheduled. The temperature is forecast to be about 78 degrees when the music starts on Thursday.
