LUMBERTON — Winston Scott, of Coree Street, reported on Monday that someone beat him in his home and took a $10 wallet, $1,600 cash, identification cards valued at $70 and a checkbook valued at $30, according to a police report.
n Assault
LUMBERTON — Brandon Blanton, of Meadow View Road in Fairmont, reported on Friday that someone cut him with a knife on both of his arms and his stomach during a fight at the Dean Dome at 2310 Capuano Road, according to a police report.
n Theft
LUMBERTON — Delores Schell, of Richmond Hill, Ga., reported on Sunday that someone took her 2005 Mazda 6, valued at $9,000, from the front of a residence on North Elm Street, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Robert Coxum, of East Fifth Street, reported on Sunday that someone took his Huffy bicycle, valued at $150, from the parking lot of Bo’s Food Stores at 1002 E. Fifth St., according to a police report.
n Vandalism
LUMBERTON — Tina Elliot, of Atkinson’s Gas at 3005 W. Fifth St., reported on Sunday that a customer driving in a 2011 Chevy Impala drove away from a gasoline pump with the nozzle still attached to their gasoline tank, according to a police report.
Elliot reported $500 damage to the pump.
n Theft tries
LUMBERTON — Robert Lewis, of East 21st Street, reported on Sunday that someone tried to start his 1997 Saturn while parked outside of his home, according to a police report.
Lewis reported $250 damage to the car’s ignition.
LUMBERTON — State Employee’s Credit Union, at 2739 W. Fifth St., reported on Sunday that someone attempted to break into an ATM machine at 455 Caton Road with an ax, causing $700 damage, according to a police report.
n Break-ins
LUMBERTON — Auther Blood, of Point Pleasant, N.J., reported on Saturday that someone entered his unlocked 2001 Nissan Murano while it was parked at the Fairfield Inn at 3361 Lackey St. and took a $400 iPod, a $120 GPS, a $200 Nintendo DS and video games valued at $320, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Richard Byers, of New Bern, reported on Friday that someone broke two windows of his 2011 Chevy while it was parked at the Holiday Inn at 101 Wintergreen Drive and took a DVD player of unknown value, according to a police report.
Byers reported a total of $700 damage to the windows.
