RALEIGH — A Silver Alert has been issued for an 84-year-old Robeson County woman who is believed to be suffering from a “cognitive impairment,” according to the state Center for Missing Persons.
Margaret Britt Simmons, who was last seen on Smyrna Church Road in Lumberton, is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 162 pounds with short gray hair and hazel eyes.
Simmons drives a green Jeep Grand Cherokee and was last seen heading towards Columbus County, according to the center. She was possibly heading to a residence in Evergreen.
