n Arrests

ST. PAULS — Edward Venez Shipman, 33, of 2028 Shaw Road, was arrested on Sunday and charged with armed robbery, larceny and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to Robeson County jail records. He is being held under a $102,500 bond.

Shipman has previously faced charges for resisting an officer, drug possession and attempted hit and run.

SHANNON — Valentin Ascencio, 22, of N.C. 71, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, according to Robeson County jail records. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

n Assault

LUMBERTON — Dominique Baldwin, of Front Street, reported on Friday that two men shot at him while he was standing in his mother’s front yard, according to a police report.

n Robbery

LUMBERTON — Anthony McNeill, of California Drive, reported on Friday that two men robbed him of $520 cash at gunpoint at the V-Point at 2016 Martin Luther King Drive, according to a police report.

n Theft

LUMBERTON — Karol Sykes, of Riverside Drive, reported on Sunday that someone took a $150 bicycle from her yard, according to a police report.

Sykes reported that she found a $300 bicycle in her yard.

n Vandalism

LUMBERTON — Carolyn Brewington, of 15th Street, reported on Saturday that someone kicked in the back window of her 1995 Lexus, causing $300 damage, according to a police report.

n Break-ins

LUMBERTON — James Womble, of West 25th Street, reported on Sunday that someone kicked in the front door to his home, causing $200 damage, according to a police report.

Juanita Strickland, of N.C. 130 in Maxton; Abdurrahman Alhubishi, of Fayetteville Street in Lumber Bridge; Julius Brewington, of Resa Loop Drive in Lumberton; Billy Ray Locklear Ministries, of Oakgrove Church Road in Pembroke; and Lanelle Faulk, of Old Allenton Road in Lumberton.
