Man convicted of selling cocaine

RALEIGH — A Red Springs man has been found guilty of distributing more than 28 grams of crack cocaine out of a garage on Huggins Road in 2010, according to a statement from the United States Attorney General’s Office.

Kendall Ladell Blue, 33, was found guilty of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute and several counts of distributing crack cocaine, according to the statement. Blue faces up to 140 years in prison.

Blue bought cocaine from a source and then redistributed the substance as crack cocaine from March 16 to April 15 of 2010, according to the statement. Blue was armed during each transaction, according to the statement.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation, according to the statement. Assistant United States Attorney Rudy E. Renfer prosecuted the case.
