Black Caucus meets Saturday
LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Black Caucus will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Weed & Seed building on Martin Luther King Drive.
Early voting and other issues will be discussed.
Pet adoption event Saturday
LUMBERTON — Franny’s Friends will hold a pet adoption from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Frank’s Furniture at 2600 Fayetteville Road.
Donations of dog and cat food, cat litter, blankets, leashes, collars, beds and bowls are greatly needed.

LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Republican Women’s Club will host its monthly meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Adelio’s Restaurant at 3608 Kahn Drive.
Dave Bullock, a 69-year-old veteran, retired business executive and author of the book “Decision 2012,” will speak at the event.
