Davy and Bobbi Britt of Proctorville announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Elizabeth Britt, to Mark Anthony Davis, the son of Tami Britt Donnelly of Katy, Texas, and Anthony Davis of Fairmont.
Britt attends Robeson Community College for Respiratory Therapy and works for the Robeson County Planning Department. She is the granddaughter of Ret. Command Sgt. Maj. Bobby R. Barnes and Ada Barnes of Proctorville, and the late Ippie and Emma Lou Britt of Lumberton.
Davis works for Champion Systems, Inc. He is the grandson of Lloyd and Margie Wilkerson Moore of Naples, Fla., and the late Marvin and Ramona Davis of Fairmont, and the late Tom Britt and Sarah Britt of Fairmont.
A late fall wedding will be held in Locklear’s Vineyard and Winery.
McMillan-Locklear
Bobby and Melody McMillan of St. Pauls announce the engagement of their daughter, Tasha Nicole McMillan to James Nelson Locklear, the son of Jimmy and Debra Locklear of Lumberton.
McMillan attended St. Pauls High School and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is the granddaughter of the late Warren and Luellen McMillan of Lumberton, and the late Willie Frank and Christine Locklear of St. Pauls.
Locklear attended Red Springs High School and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He is the grandson of Daisy Sampson and the late William Stenson Sampson of Pembroke, and the late Herbert and Naomi Locklear of Fairmont.
The wedding will be held at Union Baptist Church on Sept. 29.
Rogers-Rogers
Nina Hardee Hathorne of Lumberton announces the engagement of her daughter Kimberly Anne Rogers to Eric Wesley Rogers, the son of Wesley and Cheryl Rogers of Lumberton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dila June Hardee and the late James Conley Hardee of Lumberton. She attended Lumberton Senior High School and works for Corney Transportation Inc.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Russell and the late Kathleen Rogers of Lumberton, and the late Lonnie and the late Ruby Huggins. He attended Lumberton Senior High School and works for Corney Transportation Inc.
The wedding will be held on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Luther Britt Park Beach House.
Townsend-Howell
Lula Townsend Dinnerson and Larry D. Dinnerson of Fairmont announce the engagement of their daughter Dr. Davon Townsend of Raleigh to Jerome Howell Jr., P.E., the son of Mr. adn Mrs. William Jerome Howell.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Calvin Coolidge Dinnerson and Louise Bethea, and the late William James Townsend and Willie Mae Townsend, all of Fairmont. She attended Fairmont High School and N.C. State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works for Walgreens Pharmacy as an immunization coordinator.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Herbert Sloane and Lucille Sloane, and William and Annie Lee Howell, all of Shelby. He attended N.C. State University and recently received his Professional Engineering license and works as an Aviation Engineer for Atkins North America.
The wedding will be held in Raleigh.
