LUMBERTON — A Lumberton teenager is recovering after he was among three people injured in a Columbus County nightclub shooting early Monday.
Orlando Gaddy, 18, of Lumberton, was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center after being shot Monday about 2 a.m. and was in good condition on Wednesday, according to Amanda Crabtree, a spokesperson for Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
Also injured during the shooting were Quentin Mitchell, 25, of Lumberton, and Hope Vonceil Smith, 26, of Whiteville. Mitchell was shot in the neck, taken by car to the Southeastern Regional Medical Center and released later in the day on Monday. Smith only received a superficial injury when she was grazed by a bullet, according to the Fayetteville Observer.
The shooting happened at Ball’s Club, an informal nightclub that is not recognized as a business, according to the Fayetteville Observer.
