LUMBERTON — Agri Supply, a home shop and agricultural retail center, is celebrating its 50th year in business with a celebration on Saturday.

There will be free hamburgers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., gospel singing from 2 to 4 p.m., a Robeson County Humane Society adoption table from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as prizes, giveaways, kids activities, an antique tractor display and more.

According to Michelle Mitchell, the marketing director for Agri Supply, the celebration is a way to give back to the community.

“Our company was founded on the belief that if you provide quality merchandise at the most reasonable price and give your customers the best service possible and treat them fairly, they will be a customer for life,” she said. “Our annual customer appreciation day is a way for us to express our gratitude and thank our long time customers for their loyalty.”

Agri Supply will offer customers a 5 percent discount on all purchases on Saturday and give away some items, including hats and commemorative 50th anniversary glasses. There will be a drawing for prizes like a BBQ cooker, a Carolina Cooker, a tripod deer stand, a tool box and a Fimco sprayer.

Agri Supply is a family-owned company headquartered in Garner. Since 1962, the store has supplied farm machinery implements, shop tools, lawn and garden equipment, landscaping supplies, pet and livestock supplies, and truck and trailer accessories.
