PEMBROKE — Pembroke Day has been postponed because of inclement weather, the event’s organizers said today. The event has been rescheduled to Sept. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, at the University of North Carolina of Pembroke’s quad between Old Main, Livermore Library and the Lowry Bell Tower.

The record number of student groups, vendors and health care providers that had signed up for the event will hopefully be available next week, Scott Bigelow, university spokesman, said at about 11:30 a.m.

The town of Pembroke and UNCP come together at the annual event, which features local performers, health screenings and food from area eateries.
