LUMBERTON — Jane Carter, of Lindsay Drive, reported on Monday that someone stole her $20 purse, an identification card valued at $30 and spent $400 with her check card, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Francis Chavis, of Swank Restaurant at 1907 N. Pine St., reported on Monday that someone stole her $500 music player, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Jerry Hunt, of Progress Energy at 474 Charlie Watts Road, Maxton, reported on Monday that someone stole 20 feet of copper wire valued at $250, according to a police report. The wire was hanging between two poles at 24th Street.

LUMBERTON — April Register, of Sally’s Beauty Supply at 5073 Fayetteville Road, reported on Monday that someone stole 48 bottles of hair products valued at $311.52, according to a police report.

Vandalism

LUMBERTON — Jessica Troutman, of Furman Drive, reported on Monday that someone pulled up her flowers and broke her flower pots, causing $150 damage, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Donnie Russ, of Lake Drive, and Edgar Grant, of K Land Tire and Automotive at 101 Elizabethtown Road, reported on Monday that someone broke into eight cars and stole ignition columns from the vehicles, according to a police report. The damage is estimated at $27,000.
