Emmett Gerald Stephenson, 73, of 2128 Wood’s Crossroads, died Sept. 24, 2012, at his residence.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Billy Hundley officiating. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly S. and Jamie S., both of Benson; six sisters, Brenda Wells of Benson, Doris Pierce of Bunnlevel, Dorothy Jackson of Clinton, Dora Baker of Four Oaks, Jean Pleasant of Dunn and Linda Stanley of Smithfield; two brothers, Billy Stephenson of Benson and Darwin Stephenson of Wendell; and five grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
