Kelmer and Ola Hunt of Fairmont celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 6 with a dinner with family and friends.
The couple has three children; Brenda H. Deese and Eugene Hunt, both of Fairmont, and Larry Hunt of Laurinburg. They have three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. They were married on Sept. 6, 1942.
Kelmer also celebrated his 90th birthday on May 4.
