Leoda McRae Moody, 100, of 2402 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, died on Sept. 30, 2012, at her residence.
The funeral will be noon Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church in Proctorville, Dr. Lawence Dowdy officiating. Entombment will follow in Elizabeth Heights Cemetery in Lumberton.
Moody is survived by a daughter, Lucille Moody Watson of Lumberton; four grandchildren that she raised as her own, Lynette Moody, Ursula Moody, Jewel Moody, all of Lumberton, and Leverne Moody of Maxton; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Geneva McPhaul McRae of Fairmont, Mary George McRae of Orrum and Ora Moody Blount of Lumberton; a brother-in-law, Robert Marshall of Lumberton; a tremendous numberr of nieces and nephews and relatives and friends.
The visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Worley Mortuary and Cremation Service in Fairmont and other times at the home.
Worley Mortuary of Fairmont will be serving the family.
