Regarding the incident at the Southern Inn motel, the theft was not due to a result of a break-in. The second guest with Mr. Davis throughout the duration of his check-in was involved in the theft of the electronic items. Situations such as these negatively impact the image of our city causing travelers to reconsider lodging in Lumberton.
