McIntyre’s record in Congress is clearly one of conservatism

To the Editor,

After seeing so many Super-PAC funded commercials trying to portray Mike McIntyre as some sort of liberal, I have concluded that it’s necessary to let the actual facts tell the true story. McIntyre has been a conservative and independent voice for this district during his entire time in Congress.

His record has earned the endorsement of conservative pro-family groups like Concerned Women for America and he is the co-chair of the Congressional Prayer Caucus. He has been endorsed by the National Federation of Independent Businesses, one of the nation’s largest pro-business organizations. Mike has been honored more than once by James Dobson’s Focus of the Family Action for his strong pro-family positions. He has consistently been endorsed by the NRA for his unwavering support for the Second Amendment. Also, Mike stands strong against illegal immigration. He has co-sponsored a number of bills that increase border patrol security, to immediately deport criminal illegal aliens and to establish English as our nation’s official language. He has been named National Legislator of the Year for his dedicated work and commitment to our veterans. He has also quadrupled the number of VA facilities here in our district during his tenure in Congress.

McIntyre’s conservative record is clear. I look forward to his continued service to the 7th Congressional District which he has always served so well.

Betty Rose

These comments from the Republicans make no sense. McIntyre isn't for gay marriage. RossisWRONG writing "rediculous" and "hatrid" shows one thing...his ignorance.

Learn to spell, buddy. Then come back and try to sound edumicated.

We are full-blooded Republicans, therefor your insinuation we "correspond, If you know what I mean" is rediculous. That would be you democrats who believe in gay marriage...... We believe in God, guns, grits, beer, dirty jokes, earning a living, and living free without the help of government handouts. And you?

Ps. We like to go hunting also.

Percy white hood, I only here about same sex marriage every 4 years. During election time. I don't agree with same sex marriage but I don't care to jump through hoops just to stop people from getting married. Focus on important things like jobs.

You don't want government to control everything but you want them to outlaw same sex marriage. You flip flop more than Romney.

Explain what you meant by "Percy white hood". I love a good racial discussion. This is why I tweak discussions a bit with people, it's so easy to get the race hatrid out of someone. Most whites could care less about people based on their race, but it seems to be the main topic on a minorities mind....

He's a democrat..... That's all that needs to be known. We don't care for democrats or their ignorant voters anymore.

If you are a democrat raise your taxes all you want, pay for all the welfare and freebies you want, give out whatever you want.... But when you run out of democrats money, don't ask a Republican for a red dime. We'll do just fine on our own... Can you?

Absolutely right, Ross, but you left out one thing. Democrats are for that same-sex marriage junk. McInLIAR should change his name to "Michelle" or something, shouldn't he (or her, it, or whatever IT is?

He wants to have it both ways. Yes, he holds conservative positions on things like the military and firearms, but he's still a big spending Dem. That D after his name might not influence all of his positions, but it has an influence on a national level. The number of Ds and Rs determines who holds the gavel in the House. More Ds means the strong possibility of a Lib nut like Pelosi (who McIntyre voted for several times) can become Speaker.

At any rate, McIntyre pledged to limit his terms and that was a lie. I don't trust men who don't keep their word. Hopefully now that most in Rob Co aren't in his district, their lack of blind homerism propping him up will result in his defeat.

The "D" after democrats' name is for "DEVIANT". They're for that same-sex marriage junk, remember?
