James Moses Currie, 66, of 101 Skipper St., died Oct. 9, 2012, at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John AME Church, Elder Hannah Green officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Darrell Parker and Herman Upchurch; two brothers, Robert Currie and Earl Currie; two sisters, Mable Hall and Rosetta Parker; and two grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hill’s Funeral Home.
