Jason Kenneth “Shorty” Ward Jr., 32, died Oct. 14, 2012, in Hoke County.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Ward; his children, Paige Ward, Jason K. Ward Jr., Tyler Ward, and Jordan Ward; a brother, Donald K. Ward Jr.; and three sisters, Sharon Zimbelman, Donna K. Jones and Sandy Sundoov.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home
