James Powell, 71, of Laurinburg, died Oct. 11, 2012.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at All In The Word World International Ministries, Apostle Lawrence Jackson III officiating.
He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Scott and Catrice Powell, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Renee Rosa Hoist; four sons, James Bostic of California, Johnny Bostic of Hamlet, Darrell Powell of Laurinburg and Sean Hoist; and a brother Eddie Powell of New York.
The visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Jackson Funeral Home
