Hoyt Edwards

Lumberton

Hoyt Ray Edwards, 76, of Lumberton, died Oct. 19, 2012, at Glen Flora Nursing Home in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at White Pond Baptist Church, the Rev. David Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Horne Family Cemetery.

Preceded in death by parents, Alton Edwards and Anna Bell Willoughby Edwards; and a brother, Jimmy Lynn Edwards.

Survived by two brothers, Morton Edwards and Harry Edwards, both of Fairmont.

The visitation will be Monday one hour prior to the service at White Pond Baptist Church.

Eva Mae Jone Bullard, 80, of 760 Albert Road, died Oct. 19, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Bobby Earl Locklear, Bobby Dean Locklear and Gary P. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullard family cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Wolfheally Bullard of the home; two sons, Randolph Bullard and Glenn Dale Bullard, both of Pembroke; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thompson’s Funeral Home.

Cindy Strickland

Cindy Strickland, 52, of Bladenboro, died Oct. 19, 2012, at Bladen County Hospital.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Butters Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Singletary Cemetery in Butters.

She is survived by her husband, Banjo Strickland; a son, T.J. Strickland; her parents, Kenneth and Kathleen Wilkins; a brother, Kenny Wilkins of Bladenboro; and a sister, Rhonda Fields of Lumberton.

The visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. today at Butters Baptist Church.

Grace Cooper

Lumberton

Grace Lee Cooper, 101, of 208 Campbell St., died Oct. 17, 2012, at Golden Living Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home & Cremations, the Rev. Bertha Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabeth Heights.

She is survived by her stepson, Willie Mack Cooper Jr. of Lumberton, and a stepdaughter, Daisy Roosevelt Boykins of Lumberton.

The visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home & Cremations.
