LUMBERTON — Erica Smith, of Lumber River Trading Company at 1675 Roberts Ave., reported on Tuesday that someone broke into one of the business’ trailers and stole an unknown amount of pine straw, according to a police report. Damage to a door and a lock was estimated at $120.
LUMBERTON — Joseph Preston Phillips II, of Glisson Street, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into his home and stole a $400 machete and a $300 fishing pole, according to a police report. Damage to two doors and an attic was estimated at $520.
LUMBERTON — Fritze Batts, of Londonderry Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her 2011 Toyota Van while it was parked at her house and stole a $100 GPS, a $100 purse, a $150 wallet, a $60 necklace, and an identification card valued at $20, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Louise Bethea, of Crandlemire Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her house and stole a $25 DVD player, a $350 television, a $300 computer, a $50 speaker, 100 DVDs valued at $500, a $10 kitchen knife, and food valued at $10, according to a police report. Damage to a door was estimated at $80.
LUMBERTON — Shonell Antionette Cromartie, of Tar Heel, reported on Monday that someone broke into her rental home at Glisson Street, and stole a $2,000 television and a $50 glass plaque, according to a police report. Damage to a door was estimated at $400.

LUMBERTON — Miguel Angel Martinez, of Auto Zone at 1975 Roberts Ave., reported on Tuesday that a customer tried to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Wallace Franklin Freeman, of East 16th Street, reported on Tuesday that someone stole his $500 bicycle from his yard, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Donald Stern, of Walmart at 5070 Fayetteville Road, reported on Tuesday that a customer stole a grocery cart filled with air fresheners valued at $808, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Jill Locklear, of Kahn Drive, reported on Tuesday that someone stole her $100 cell phone when she left it unattended outside of Redwood Motel at 4800 Kahn Drive, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Charles Evans, of the city of Lumberton at 500 N. Cedar St., reported on Tuesday that someone stole a $290 leaf blower from one of the city’s trailers while it was parked at 1755 Roberts Ave., according to a police report.

LUMBERTON —Victoria Alford, of Main Street, reported on Tuesday that someone cut the screen on a window at her house, causing $100 damage, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Tonya Floyd, of West 18th Street, reported on Tuesday that someone threw a pumpkin through a door at her house, shattering the glass, according to a police report. Damage to the door is estimated at $75.
LUMBERTON — Essence McArn, of Jerome Street, reported on Wednesday that an acquaintance kicked in the front door of her house, causing $300 damage, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Bill Carter, of E-Z Storage at 750 Old Whiteville Road, reported on Tuesday that someone threw rocks at one of the business’ glass doors, causing $350 damage, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Dennis and Mary McQueen Mims, of Rosewood Drive, reported on Monday that someone scratched the side of two of their cars while both were parked at their home, causing $2,500 damage to a 2006 Nissan Altima and $3,000 damage to a 2013 Nissan Altima, according to a police report.
