To the Editor,
Folks, we have less than two weeks to elect a president to lead this great country.
Please let me explain a bit about Democrats and Republicans. Democrats want a country full of dependent people who rely on government for their every need and want. Republicans believe in self reliance and the American people. Democrats think Americans are stupid and can’t make it without their guidance and support. But this pits one against another. The ones who earn the money and the ones who take the money through government handouts.
Now social issues. Democrats were the founding fathers of the KKK. They fought tooth and nail to stop Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, in the Civil War, and again in the 1960s, opposing civil rights put forth by the Republican party. After the Democrats realized what civil rights meant, they began a legal way of removing minorities from the workplace by giving welfare, removing them again from their communities by giving government housing and section-8, removing fathers from homes by lax laws on drugs and crime and limiting benefits to the mothers for being married. All these social programs to help the poor and look what we have to show for it.
Republicans believe in our American people. We want everybody to succeed. We don’t see color as a barrier like the Democrats do. We see American people who want the best for themselves without government assistance. We believe in freedom. You are free to make it or you are free to fail.
It’s up to you.
