William Harrie Grimes, 78, of 12437 N.C. 87 West, died at Southeastern Hospice House.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Colvin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Grimes Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Andre Cromartie of Petersburg, Va., and Larry Cromartie of Dublin; three daughters, Deatra McKoy of Decatur, Ga., Louretta Evans of Bladenboro and Vera Sinclair of Lumberton; two brothers, Jerry Grimes of Tar Heel and Horace Grimes of New York; two sisters, Doris Grimes and Glenn Council, both of Tar Heel; and seven grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home.
