Buck B. Taylor, 69, of Orrum, died Nov. 3, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Rev. George Connor officiating. Burial will follow in the V.C. Britt Cemetery.

He was born in Robeson County on Nov. 10, 1942, to the late Bob Taylor and the late Leller Arnette Taylor. He previously worked at Alamac as a machine operator.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Gray Taylor and a sister, Helen Callahan.

Taylor is survived by two sons, Shawn Taylor of Orrum and Lane Taylor and wife Stephanie of Andrews, S.C.; a brother, Robert Taylor of Fayetteville; two sisters, Jean Dale Britt and husband Gerald of Orrum and Edith Lewis of Fairmont; and two grandchildren, Alexis and Caitlyn Taylor.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St., in Lumberton and at other times at the home of Audrey Britt Lovett, 730 Ann Road, Orrum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 4530 Park Road, No. 230, Charlotte, N.C., 28205, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
