To the Editor,
Thank you Lumberton.
After 30 years in the automotive business in Florida, my wife and I didn’t know what to expect when we purchased the beautiful Nissan dealership on Roberts Avenue. We moved from a very transient, big city metropolis to what we hoped was a quaint, friendly town in the Sandhills of North Carolina.
You haven’t let us down. The Lumberton welcome has been overwhelming and so appreciated. We have just marked our first 90 days and here’s what we’ve found:
— A staff of hard-working, knowledgeable individuals.
— New friends and customers who remind us daily that we need to earn your business.
— A pool of enthusiastic and excited potential hires, so much so that we’ve been able to add several new jobs to the community.
As we relish our first fall in 30 years, we are stepping out to experience all you have to offer. A warm hello to Candy Sue’s, where we enjoyed the best salmon dinner in the coolest location. We’ve teed off at Pinecrest Country Club, enjoying both the course and new golfing partners the first day out. And we can’t wait to see what you’ve got in mind for the Lumber River area — what a great natural resource.
So thank you all for your friendly service and warm smiles, no matter where we go. We hope we can reciprocate soon.
