Garnville Clark, 65, of 128 Alfordsville Road, was born June 19, 1947, to the late Reather Clark Oxendine. He departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on Nov. 13, 2012, at Hospice in Laurinburg.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church, Pastors Chris Locklear, Ronald Chavis and Willie Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at the Clark family cemetery.
Garnville is survived by his wife, Tessie O. Clark of the home; his son, Bennie R. Clark of Rowland; his daughter, Karen K. Tucker and husband David Tucker; two grandchildren, Tyler Tucker and Nahaven Tucker, both of Rowland; his sisters, Judy Hatcher and husband Clyde Hatcher, Lucille Strickland, Jan Barrington, Betty J. Oxendine, Marlene Strong, Marie Goins, and Gloria J. Locklear; his brothers, Arnold Oxendine Jr., Herman Oxendine, Glen Locklear and Vernon Locklear; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Services are being provided by Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
