Elizabeth Askew Fulghum, 72, of St. Pauls, died Nov. 25, 2012, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

A memorial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Pauls United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

She was born March 25, 1940, in Wilson County, to the late Harold Sugg and Edna Janet Wolfe Askew.

She was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and retired as a school teacher with St. Pauls High School.

She is survived by her husband, Claude W. Fulghum Jr.; a son, Richard Fulghum; a daughter, Janet Fulghum and her husband Dr. Douglas Mize; three grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Mize, Mary Katherine Mize and Kayla Elise Mize; and a sister, Dr. Janet Askew Sipple.

The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at McNeill Mackie Funeral Home.
