PEMBROKE — The University of North Carolina at Pembroke will hold a musical extravaganza at the Givens Performing Arts Center on Nov. 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The event will feature more than 100 UNCP musicians as well as the inaugural lighting of the UNCP holiday tree.
Tickets, which support student scholarships, are available at the GPAC box office. They cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and children.
LUMBERTON — The city of Lumberton will hold a tree-lighting ceremony on Nov. 30 in historic downtown Lumberton at 6 p.m.
There will be horse and carriage rides, tractor hay rides, hot cocoa and cookies, as well as live entertainment by the Lumberton Police Department’s DARE band and the musical cast from “A Robeson County Christmas.”

FAIRMONT — The town of Fairmont will hold Holiday on Main in downtown Fairmont at 6 p.m. on Nov. 30.
There will be a Christmas parade and a tree-lighting ceremony in Community Park, as well as entertainment in the Heritage Center.

LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College Foundation will hold a Christmas Talent Show featuring the Robeson Community College Ensemble Choir on Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the college at 5160 Fayetteville Road.
There will be performances by the Robeson County Christmas Show performers and American Idol finalist Victoria Huggins, among others.

LUMBERTON — Tickets for the second annual Dancing with the Robeson County Stars, which cost $30, are available for purchase at the United Way office at 202 N. Chestnut St., or by phone with a credit card by calling 910-739-4249.
The event will be held on March 22 at 6:30 p.m. and will raise money for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides a free book monthly to children 5 and under.
