Louise Blackmon McFadyen, 87, of Red Springs, died Dec. 1, 2012, in FirstHealth Moore Regional.
A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. today in the Alloway Cemetery, the Rev. Michael McGehee officiating.
McFadyen was born in Sampson County on Feb. 28, 1925, to the late Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Blackmon.
She was an active member of the Red Springs Presbyterian Church and involved in many activities within the church and community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis McFadyen.
She is survived by her son Robert (Bobby) L. McFadyen of the home; a daughter, Jessie M. Tolar (Don Summey) of Red Springs; a grandson, Robert B. Tolar and wife Rochelle of Raleigh; two granddaughters, Christina T. Horner and husband Charles of San Antonio, Texas, and Jessie Alaine Tolar (Christopher Rezac) of Wilmington; a great-grandson, Robert A. Todd of San Antonio; two sister-in-laws, Frances McCreery and her husband Robert of Ponte Verda, Fla., Willa Lindsay, widow of Harmon of Southern Pines; and many nieces and nephews.

Stephen Bryant Boyette, 56, of Keysville, Ga., passed away on Nov. 26, 2012, at his residence.
A memorial will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Rev. Mary Frances McClure officiating.
Stephen was born to Frank B. Boyette and the late Helon Darden Boyette in Hendersonville in 1956. He was a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering. He later relocated to Keysville, where he had been employed with Plant Vogtle.
He enjoyed gardening and sharing his harvest with his friends ,where he obtained the nickname of “The Pepperman.” Steve also was very talented in the ability to fabricate and repair just about anything he set his mind to. He was a very special man and will be truly missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his loving family, including his father, Frank B. Boyette of Red Springs; a sister, Natalie B. Brigman of Fayetteville; three nieces, Heather (Scott) Crothers of Chesapeake, Ohio, Stephanie Brigman and Erica Brigman, both of Fayetteville.

Hunt is survived by a son, Ralph Harrell Jr. of Rowland; a daughter, Angeleta Hunt of Fairmont; two brothers, Rucious Hunt and Charles Butch Hunt, both of Rowland; five sisters, Evelyn Jacobs of Lumberton, Alma Hunt of High Point, Coleda Ransom of Rowland, Glois Hunt of Fairmont and Lena Gray Oxendine of Wilmington; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Ann Abram and Maeola Abram, both of Fairmont, Brenda Bullard of Durham and Peggy Stanback of Mount Gilead; four sons, George McArthur of Lumberton, and Douglas McArthur, Mike McArthur and Bowman McArthur, all of Fairmont; two brothers, John Charles Taylor and Robert Taylor, both of Fairmont; three sisters, Janice Graham and Hattie Livingston, both of Fairmont, and Theressa Powell of New York; 35 grandchildren; and 68 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Campbell and Johnny Williams; a daughter, Yolanda Williams; four brothers, James Stephens, David Earl Stephens, Ricky Stephens and DeLanie Stephens; four sisters, Katie Stephens, Evonne Stephens, Mary Ann Stephens and Melissa Stephens; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
