LUMBERTON — Shanequa Love, of Hardee’s Restaurant at 2475 Roberts Ave., reported on Wednesday that a customer punched her in the face, jumped over the counter and continued to hit her, according to a police report. Damage to a cash register was estimated at $450.
Love was not seriously injured.
n Break-ins
LUMBERTON — Neil Frazier, of Don Leigh Properties at 608 Roberts Ave., and Salena Esperanzo, of Warrick Mill Road, reported on Thursday that someone kicked in Esperanzo’s door and stole a $550 handgun, two televisions valued at $1,050, a $100 video game system, and five video games valued at $150, according to a police report. Damage to the door was estimated at $100.
LUMBERTON — Lumberton police Officer Jennifer White reported on Thursday that someone broke into an abandoned warehouse at 608 Town Common that belongs to the city of Lumberton at 500 N. Cedar St., and stole a $1,000 air-conditioner coil, a $150 air-conditioner motor, and wiring valued at $300, according to a police report.
n Thefts
LUMBERTON — William Lopez, of J.B. Hunt’s Trucking at 2050 W. Fifth St., reported on Thursday that someone stole 250 feet of copper wiring from five of the business’ trailers valued at $1,500, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Jimmy Holmes, of Reddy Ice at 903 E. Elizabethtown Road, reported on Thursday that someone siphoned and stole 120 gallons of diesel fuel valued at $4,000 from one of the business’ trucks, according to a police report.
n Vandalism
LUMBERTON — Natarshia Tramain Hasty, of McCollum Street, reported on Thursday that someone scratched the side of her 2001 Mazda Tribute that was parked at Super Dollar 302 Pine St., causing $400 damage, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Lessie Louise Locklear, of McPhail Road, reported on Thursday that someone scratched and dented the trunk, top and passenger side door of her 2000 Nissan Maxima while it was parked at Southeastern Regional Medical Center at 2934 N. Elm St., causing $650 damage, according to a police report.
